Career and Technical Education

Central Valley High School students have the opportunity to participate in the Kern High School District’s CTE programs through the Regional Occupation Center. 

At Central Valley High School, we offer a CTE career exploration lab in a Paxton-Patterson lab.  This lab focuses on the energy sector as well as mechanical and home maintenance. 

Beginning in the 2021-2022 school year, CVHS will be offering three new CTE pathways, two in business and one in art.
