Scorpions Attend Leadership Celebration
On February 1st, 2018 CVHS Scorpions attended the Renaissance Leadership Celebration sponsored by Jostens. Highschools from Kern Highschool District and surrounding areas showed their school pride and waved flags during opening ceremonies which included dance-off competitions between students, mascots, and teachers. Speakers addressed ideas about "Leading from the Middle" and "All Students Matter". Stella Newlin treated the students afterwards to Dewars Ice Cream as they ended the day. It is our goal at Central Valley High School to create access and expose students to new positive experiences.
