CVHS Experiences the Solar Eclipse 2017
Administration Staff and students participated in observing a rare solar event. Students from all classes went outside with the help of teachers to safely view the 60% eclipse. Solar glasses and viewing boxes were used and some students took pictures with their phones. At Central Valley, we view these events as opportunities to learn outside the classroom in a hands on method and we took full advantage of what nature could teach us by utilizing facts and interactions with the eclipse.
