Dual Enrollment Harbors Much Talent and Fervor

This Fall will mark the third semester for Central Valley High School to host Dual Enrollment in partnership with Bakersfield College. This year students were joined by adults from the community who also enrolled in ART B2 which is a beginning art course. This course transfers to any UC or CSU. With professional experience in the Art world abroad and locally, Mr. Rubio enjoys exposing young minds to the rich territory of art making. Nano Rubio has taught at Bakersfield College for seven years and has just recently joined the Kern High School District. Dual enrollment allows our students at Central Valley High School to recover credits, earn college credit and is a great segue into college life.
